Soldier Pass Shooting Range

Great place to practice. Lots of safe range areas with various distances. No targets provided so bring your own. Public restrooms were closed with a sign saying "closed due to vandalism." Not cool, we're better than that.

Great shooting range! The only complaint is the side barriers aren't high enough. It felt extremely unsafe using the 200 yard range when the 100 yard range was still shooting and bullets were ricocheting all over the place. Made my stomach drop a few times. They make the barriers higher, I will adjust this to a five star.

5/5 stars for the range setup. 2/5 stars though for the lack of care and cleanup that patrons/shooters themselves have that come here. I’m shocked how much people in Utah do not care about taking care of the land and cleaning up after themselves. It shows complete lack of respect and a general apathy for consequences of public land being constantly closed down due to the respect of land use for shooting purposes. Be better, people. If you want to continue enjoying nature and scenic places to shoot at, be accountable.
